Remi Ashton-Rodriguez is the 7th generation of the Ashton family and began performing as a Bareback rider at the age of just 16 months. He has since developed into a seasoned performer adding tumbling, trampoline, hand-balancing and modeling to his growing repertoire. In 2002, Remi began performing his own perch act alongside his grandfather Brasil, becoming the third generation of the Rodriguez family to perform the role.
It is delightful to watch the interaction between the generations with this complex, dangerous act. Remi, an innovative contemporary performer, delights in continuing and building on the Ashton family traditions. Today Remi performs a High Chair-Balancing act.
